Carissa Lawson is the morning news anchor at News 12 New Jersey. She is a New York City native who grew up in Queens. Lawson is a proud graduate of New York University with a degree in broadcast journalism. Lawson left the greater New York area after college graduation to pursue her broadcasting career with a dream of someday returning. She spent nearly a decade working her way up the ranks in North Carolina. She then went on to anchor the evening news at the CBS affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky, before making her way back to the Northeast with an exciting stint at CBS News as a freelance correspondent in New York City. During that time, she accomplished three major things all at once: She moved to a different state, had her first child and started a brand-new job! She tells people the experience has taught her you can do just about anything with prayer and perseverance.Lawson has won an Associated Press Award for feature reporting. She co-anchored the newscast at the CBS affiliate in Louisville that received the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for best newscast. She was also part of the CBS affiliate team that received the coveted National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) Service to America Television Award, among the highest public-service honors in broadcasting, that honors exceptional public and community service. Upon graduation from NYU, Lawson earned the James Fenimore Cooper Memorial Prize, which is presented annually to the most outstanding undergraduate student of journalism. She was also inducted into the Kappa Tau Alpha National Honor Society in journalism and mass communication.nullLawson is the mother of a wonderful little girl who keeps her Mommy busy! She is co-leader of her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop and volunteers for the Parent Teachers Organization at her daughter’s school. She enjoys traveling in her time off and is also a vegetarian who advocates for healthy living. She enjoys every opportunity she can get to help others understand the lifesaving importance of leading a healthier lifestyle. The passing of her aunt due to breast cancer has strengthened her convictions about a way of life she tries her best to live out each day.

Trisha is 11 years old and is from Tennessee. Trisha loves every opportunity to learn art, be creative and bring a smile to others. She enjoys Dance, Performing Arts, Music, and helping others. She is an agency-represented Actor and Model and recently had an opportunity to be part of Bank of America Commercial. She has also appeared in LifeWay Short film along with the LifeWay kids rebranding campaign. She is a brand ambassador of multiple companies along with having a Brand deal with James Ward Mansion, Lush Cosmetics, Amika, etc.
She continues to rediscover her talent through every event or competition. She was crowned Miss South Asia World 2020 Preteen Runner up, Worlds Pre-Teen Miss United Nations 2021, and Worlds Pre-Teen Miss Volunteer State Tourism 2021. Trisha discovered her talent in the Modeling and Fashion Industry being a Brand Ambassador for great designers and in her recent runway in NYFW. She traveled to New York and worked with different designers and photographers, gaining experience and developing more Modeling interests. She will be traveling to Paris for Paris Fashion Week next year.
Trisha is an editorial model; she takes directions well and works well with others. She has appeared in multiple magazines, including Cover Model for All Eyes Magazine and Model of the Month for Wild Child Magazine. She is always grateful for her supporters, photographers, and agents; she takes every challenge with her determination and enthusiasm and aspires to dream big. She is the Student Governor in her class and loves to help others, volunteer, and be involved in community-building activities. She wants to be a role model to others in giving back to the community.

Alyssa Casa is a 19 yr old model, actress and fashion designer.

She started acting at 6 yrs old and has been seen on many popular television shows , her favorite being Modern Family. Alyssa started modeling at age 9, kind of by accident , and hasn’t stopped. She is a veteran of many print ads and runways including those of New York, Paris , and Los Angeles.

After graduating high school at just 15 yrs old she was able to focus on her passion of Fashion Design. By 16 yrs old she was the CEO of her own company Alyssa Casa Designs, and was showing lines in New York and Paris. She was awarded the Prudential Spirit of Community Award and the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award in Girl Scouts. Her project involved providing beautiful , comfortable hospital gowns for critically ill girls.

Alyssa is now continuing her education and love of fashion by attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

In her free time Alyssa is very adventurous. She loves to travel and has enjoyed things like shark cage diving and surfing in Hawaii, zip lining on some of the biggest courses in the world, and learning to fly small airplanes. Her charitable causes include saving sea turtles and stopping human trafficking.
